- Before lighting your decorative candle, trim the wick to 5mm
- Place it on a heat-resistant tray or plate to collect dripping wax
- Light your candle in a well-ventilated area, away from draughts and flammable materials
- Burn for at least 1 hour to create a melt pool but for no longer than 3 hours at a time
- If burning multiple candles, place them at least 10cm apart
- Before relighting your candle, trim your wick to 5mm and remove any wick debris
- Do not burn candles completely and discard when wax is 1cm from the base
